A brand new website combining Panto Day, National Database of Panto Performance, Panto Advice Page & more!

To celebrate Panto Day’s 4th year, we want to create a brand new website to help showcase the work of ‘Celebrate Panto’.

Celebrate Panto is an umbrella organisation for:

1) Panto Day – an annual celebration of the UK’s most popular artform

2) Panto Advice Page – a growing resource of articles written by leading practitioners

3) National Database of Pantomime Performance – a database listing all professional productions staged in the UK each year

4) Celebrate Panto Productions – short docu-features, interviews and podcasts

Each year Celebrate Panto aims to:

1) Share expertise / knowledge to those interested via the Panto Advice Page with six new articles

2) Document pantomime practice through a docu-feature focusing on a specific aspect of the industry each year

3) Provide media outlets and interested parties with statistics about the season ahead and how it differs to previous ones via the National Database of Pantomime Performance

4) Archive the season via the National Database of Pantomime Performance

5) Encourage theatres, companies and venues to celebrate pantomime on Panto Day with their own events and activities, supported by Celebrate Panto via downloadable resources

Celebrate Panto exists for the positive promotion of panto. A new website will help it achieve its aims and ensure its resources can be freely enjoyed by pantomime lovers around the world.

Celebrate Panto is an unfunded organisation run by a small group of volunteers. This money will go towards paying a website designer to create a new website and for its hosting and maintenance for one year.
